What type of "itunes" client are you attempting to setup? (Windows, MacOS, iPad, iPod, iPhone, iMac, Roku, Boxee, etc). You claim that the MediaFly Server acknowledges indexing your media, so it is probably a "client" issue rather than a "server" issue. I'm not an iTunes user myself (I run under Linux on my PC), so please check with other MediaFly users to determine whether such Port-forwarding is a good idea from a "security standpoint", it might be "possible but not recommended" for all I know. You can access the MediaFly configuration page at If you want to be able to do this remotely, you'll need to Port-Forward WAN:3689/TCP to NAS:3689/TCP in your Router. Do I need to open a port on my router or do I need to set some hidden settings that I can't find.Help anyone please I need my music!!!!! Thanks in advance!!! EDIT: I'm running a TS-459 Pro II with Firmware - 3.7.1 Build 20120615 iTunes - Firmware 10.6.3.25 Firefly - Version svn-1696 I can give any info and/or pictures if needed. I have read many tutorials and still no help. I would like to say I have everything set up correctly but its not showing up in iTunes so probably not! Firefly Server is up and running and has scanned all my music and shows that on the configuration page.
